General Festival Info
Welcome to Strummercamp 7, a not for profit
festival celebrating the life, music and influence of
JOE STRUMMER and THE CLASH.
Now in our 7th year we have every reason to be
proud of our achievements, especially in the
present climate where so many small festivals
are going under - we aim to give Value For Money and keep
admission at an affordable level for all.
Strummercamp was short-listed once more at
the Annual Festival Awards for "Best Small Festival"
and "Best Grass Roots Festival", narrowly missing
out on a major award.
Strummercamp is run entirely by volunteers who
contribute their own time and energy to deliver
a well run and friendly event.
This year we welcome THE JIM JONES REVUE and NEW MODEL ARMY, with many more yet to be announced - we are sure that the great
atmosphere we have here will rub off on any first
timers.
We would to ask you to refrain from entering
areas of the arena that are out of bounds.
All that remains is to wish you all a great weekend
and as Joe once said:
"Without people...we're nothing."
